Refund Policy

1. General Policy
HelixVentureLab is committed to delivering high-quality digital services. Refund requests are evaluated based on the stage of project completion and adherence to the agreed project scope.

2. Project Milestones
Projects are typically divided into milestones. Refund eligibility is calculated based on the percentage of work completed at the time of the request:

  • Pre-Project Phase (0-10% complete): Full refund minus administrative processing fee of 10%.
  • Early Development (11-40% complete): Refund of 60% of the remaining project balance.
  • Mid Development (41-70% complete): Refund of 30% of the remaining project balance.
  • Late Development (71%+ complete): No refund applicable. Full delivery of completed work will be provided.

3. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable: (a) domain registration fees; (b) third-party software licenses purchased on behalf of the client; (c) work completed and approved during the project lifecycle; (d) rush delivery surcharges.

4. Refund Request Process
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within 14 days of the milestone in question. Requests must include the project identifier and reason for the refund request.

5. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days to the original payment method. HelixVentureLab reserves the right to offer alternative resolution methods including project scope adjustment.

6. Dispute Resolution
In case of disagreement regarding refund eligibility, both parties agree to attempt resolution through direct communication before pursuing external dispute mechanisms under Spanish consumer protection law.

SECTION_04 // SERVICE_AGREEMENT

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging the services of HelixVentureLab, located at Calle Tomelloso 31, Madrid, Spain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the client and HelixVentureLab.

2. Scope of Services
HelixVentureLab provides digital studio services including but not limited to motion graphics, web development, data visualization, and digital experience design. The specific scope of each project is defined in the individual project proposal or statement of work.

3. Project Timeline and Delivery
Project timelines are estimates provided at the project inception. HelixVentureLab will make reasonable efforts to meet stated deadlines. Delays caused by client feedback, scope changes, or force majeure events may extend the delivery timeline proportionally.

4. Payment Terms
Payments are structured according to the agreed project milestones. Invoices are due within 14 days of issuance. Late payments may incur a late fee of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Work may be suspended if payment is overdue by more than 30 days.

5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client receives full ownership of the deliverables specified in the project scope. HelixVentureLab retains the right to display completed work in portfolios and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the course of the project. This obligation survives the termination of the agreement for a period of 24 months.

7. Limitation of Liability
HelixVentureLab's total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. HelixVentureLab shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days written notice. In the event of termination, the client is responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date.

9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Madrid, Spain.
